There’s a new 16-inch MacBook Pro looming on the horizon, and it could be officially announced as soon as the end of October, along with the Apple AirPods Pro at a press event. Will this new model have an entirely new design? Unfortunately, it looks just like its predecessors. That’s right, macOS Catalina 10.15.1 beta may have leaked the former via an icon that is meant to represent the current computer when viewing the Displays menu in System Preferences. When compared side-by-side with the current MacBook Pro models, the icon appears to show a laptop with just a slightly better screen-to-bezel ratio, but aren’t quite ultra-slim. If the icon information is correct, we’ll see both Space Gray and Silver models, just like the current laptop. There’s no word yet on pricing, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see a top-of-the-line model with 64GB of RAM and a dedicated graphics card.
